LECTURERS:
Avram Manea, DMD
Graduated from the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Faculty of Dental Medicine in 2012 and the Faculty of Medicine in 2017. Completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency from 2013 to 2017. Holds a PhD in Oral Implantology with a focus on Biomechanics in Oral Implantology. Has published multiple papers in the fields of Implantology, Orthognathic Surgery, Oncology, Imaging, and more.
Delivered numerous lectures on Oral Implantology and Custom Implants over the past years. Designed and patented a dental implant during PhD studies. Has been teaching at “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy for ten years, covering subjects such as Oral Implantology, Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Management of Emergencies in the Dental Office.
For the past five years, has focused on patient-specific implants, aiming to improve implant designs and surgical techniques for better outcomes and enhanced patient comfort.
Dean Cekić, DMD
He is born in Zagreb, Croatia, in 1974. He completed high school for dental technicians in Zagreb in 1992 and then attended the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Zagreb, graduating in 1998. In 2008, you pursued a Master’s program in Implantology at gIDE/UCLA in Los Angeles. Since 2001, he’s been the lead doctor in a family dental practice and have worked as a consultant or part-time doctor in various practices and clinics across Croatia and Europe.
Lecturer in different aspects of dentistry since 2007, with a focus on implantology, Dr Dean holds the role of a KOL (Key Opinion Leader) for different implant brands specially BoneEasy individual solutions in Croatia. His professional focus includes computer-guided implantology, full arch implant rehabilitation, and the rehabilitation of the atrophic maxilla using various techniques, such as long implants, pterygoid implants, and palatal approaches. Dr. Dean also specializes in using BoneEasy, Implatize Compact, and individual implants for atrophic maxilla and mandible cases.
His area of expertise includes implant prosthetics, with a special emphasis on computer-guided implantology, rehabilitation of edentulous patients, the application of growth factors in tissue regeneration, and treating patients with dental phobia. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Dean Cekić, DMD, serves as an educator across various platforms, ranging from courses to conferences.
Zoran Ivasović, DDS
He is a skilled specialist in oral surgery and dental implantology, with a focus on prosthetics and aesthetic dentistry. With over 20 years of experience and ongoing education, his goal is to stay current with the latest techniques, technologies, and materials in implant education. He is an experienced mentor and educator in the field of implantology.
